Today, I rose early, seeking reasons.
As humans, it's in our nature to seek explanations for everything, providing a sense of comfort. In this pursuit, we strive to control life, as if we could play the role of God or tap into some sacred source to find answers, almost magically.
This magical thinking extends to our belief that everyone should align with our thoughts, love and hate precisely as we do. Our individuality defines us, yet paradoxically, we yearn for uniformity among others.
Tragically, amidst this quest for uniformity, we often overlook kindness, viewing the world as perilous. We divide ourselves by races, indulge in rumors, and instigate intense competition, almost romantically.
Yet, in truth, there is no "other kind." We are all part of the same human kind, a realization that brings hope.
Fortunately, some among us possess this understanding. They struggle to convey it to those less aware, waiting patiently with compassion.
So, with patience, we await a natural reprieve. Let the rain fall fiercely, let the night arrive crisply to soothe our hearts, and let the dawn of each new day renew our ceaseless pursuit of Peace. Until that relief arrives, may love continue to thrive in your life.
